Lessons: Christmas story and its meaning to each of us, United States geography, counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s, initial sound phonics, reading skills, fine motor strengthening, alphabet and shape recognition.

Social Skills: Traffic light behavior analogy: Stop (red) and Think (yellow) before you Act/Talk (green), good listening skills,  learning how to show love to friends, loving friends ALL the time, using kind words to communicate, appropriate assertiveness, looking for peers that may need a friend.

Projects: Christmas gifts, aprons, gingerbread houses, winter animals, snowmen, snowflakes, Valentines and hearts, Class Book.
